My status before: stressed out, in bad condition and starting to see flabby arms and thighs. Even though I am now 50 years old, I will not accept to look like this. Only 1 week into Boot Camp I felt a great deal of stress relief, but, boy, did I feel “heavy” while running up those steps in the parking area!! I got easy dizzy and had to take many breaks.
In just 3 short weeks my husband commented on the beach one day: you look fitter in your upper arms and thighs. I am amazed! I felt my condition got better by each morning at boot Camp and the breaks I needed were less.
This is the perfect way to get fitter, more toned and in great shape in a fun, safe and effective way. The coaching has been very encouraging and you guys are absolutely great!

I started Adventure Boot Camp the first month Coach Natalie offered it on Marco Island and was hooked after the first workout! Surprisingly, that was just over a year ago. As an active person who plays tennis and likes to exercise, I must admit I was a little bored with my own routine. That's what makes boot camp so addictive...each day is different, sometimes the focus is on cardio and other days are strength training. Many times our workout is a combination of both and we always work on strengthening our core. Regardless, each day presents a different challenge and for me personally, it pushes me beyond my comfort zone. Not only that, Coach Natalie truly cares about you achieving your personal best. She will push you in an encouraging manner, because she is acutely aware of your strengths and wants you to get results!
Speaking of results....I am not a slave to the scale; however, I do like to look good in my clothes. Bootcamp has not only helped me improve my overall strength and endurance, it has also helped me drop 2 clothing sizes. It has made shopping for jeans a lot more fun!
Naples / Marco Island Adventure Boot Camp has become my new therapy....it incorporates fitness, nutritional guidance, new friendships and overall improved health and well being! Thank you Coach Natalie for all you have done and continue to do for me and my fellow bootcampers!

I am a 66 year old grandmother who has exercised on and off her entire life. However, in the last several years I have been unable to do so. My 90 year old mother came to live with me in February 2010 and has had medical issues the entire time. I was working part time (20 hours per week) when she came to live with me. At the time I was living with a friend with whom I had built a house. Of course this person never expected our life to change this radically and was not happy about it.
Mother had to be admitted to the hospital in June of this year (my second month in Bootcamp) and after a week stay had to go to rehabilitation. I went to the rehab center every day for 6 weeks and would take her clothes home to wash and return to her the next day never knowing what to expect. It was horrible seeing her so distraught and confused (she was abused by a nurses aid while she was there). While she was there, I was told that my husband, who lives in Thailand, was experiencing symptoms of Alzheimer's Disease (his father died of complications at the age of 70 and one of his brothers died of complications of early onset Alzheimer's in his 50s).
On a Monday I was driving home from the rehab center. I was supposed to go to Bootcamp but was so emotionally exhausted and hadn't been to Bootcamp in several weeks. For some reason that night I made myself go and of course Natalie was supportive and understanding (however she didn't cut me any slack I will assure you).
The next morning as I was leaving to go to the rehab center (after doing mother's wash, cleaning the kitchen from the last night's dinner, walking and feeding the dogs and doing two other loads of clothes) as I walked out to get in the car I thought to myself, if I hadn't gone to Bootcamp last night I couldn't do this again today. That is an amazing feeling. As I am still dealing with these issues, I thank God every day for Natalie and the Naples/Marco Adventure Bootcamp.

Dear Natalie,
Last August when I turned 56, I decided that this would be the year that I would concentrate on getting fit and staying healthy and strong. It was just by coincidence that I happened upon your Boot Camp website. I have been a "camper" for the past 5 months. I must say that this is the best I have felt in a long time. As you know, my mom and I ran the Disney Princess half marathon last Sunday. I was able to do it ,and do it within my goal time , because of the strength , endurance and confidence that I have gotten from boot camp!

SINCE THEN I HAVE LOST THE MOST PRECIOUS THING I HAD POSSESSED, MY HEALTH! I wanted to thank you for the last four weeks of boot camp. After having two kids 15 months apart, I was finding too many excuses of why I didn’t have time to work out during the day. I saw Adventure Boot Camp on naplesnews.com and decided to call you. I committed to 3 days a week for the entire month but made a goal with myself to workout at least two more days each week on my own time. For the first time in almost two years I got back on my racing bike. I even signed up for an 8K race (5 miles), which I ran on Sunday in 47minutes and 22 seconds. I was thrilled! I have the motivation again to take better care of myself. Even my husband notices a difference in my figure and attitude. Working out at 5:30 a.m. is actually exhilarating and fun! It is the only real time I have just for myself each day, and I value it greatly. Also, I met some really amazing women too! Thank you Natalie for pushing me and helping me get back to fitness. I hope to do another boot camp soon!

Wow! Eighteen pounds lighter and with my arms looking a lot more toned, I am in the midst of my third Naples Adventure Boot Camp with Natalie! Granted when the alarm goes off at 5 a.m. I have been tempted a time or two to just ignore it, but then I can't because I remember that I have a goal to get into shape -- plus I know how great I feel at 6:30 a.m. when my fellow boot campers and I all give each other a "High Five" in honor of another session well done.
I really love the fact that every day is different with the unexpected thrown in. We might be exercising up and down 5th Avenue and the beaches one day -- If you see someone doing an early morning "bear crawl" in front of Chops Restaurant on 5th, it might be me -- or maybe it's me using a palm tree and an elastic band for rows the next. Parking garage stairs anyone? How about pushing a car down an alleyway? Not to mention Cambier Park makes a great perimeter run. It's all about arms and abs and core. And though it is called a boot camp, I've yet to be yelled at. Natalie doesn't have to yell to get us to be the best we can be!

Coach Natalie is very knowledgeable and inspiring! Getting up that early is easier than you would think. Getting my workout in first thing is a new experience for me and it works out great! Natalie kept the class interesting with blood pumping music and a variety of exercises, I will never look at a park bench the same! Naples Adventure Boot Camp gives me tons of energy and a deep nights sleep.

I wanted to tell you how much I loved boot camp. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but it was exactly what I needed. Boot Camp has given me the jump start to health and fitness that I was looking for.
The peaceful tranquility of the 5:30 am hour is glorious. The early morning workout sets the tone for my whole day. I find that I eat healthier, have more energy, can deal with stress more easily and have more patience for the seventeen 5 and 6 year olds that greet me each morning. Although I didn't know any of the other "campers", I feel that there is a certain friendship and each of us celebrates everyone's successes. It made me feel great on the last day when I was jogging down 5th Avenue and Kelly passed me on the return and said "Good job, Cindy."
You have been a great coach, Natalie. Your encouragement to push each of us to challenge our abilities makes all of the difference. Each of us feels like you are our biggest cheer leader!

Boot camp is awesome. Results after 4 weeks are amazing. Getting up early to get to 5:30 a.m. boot camp for a great hour workout is something I have learned to love. I can jog, jump rope and push myself to my limit because of Coach Natalie's encouragement. And wow do I feel great after it's done! I'm 61 years young. I stretched out of my comfort zone for boot camp and am so glad I did. It's truly been an incredible experience. Can't wait to share it with friends back home in Minnesota.
I am so lucky to be in Naples FL in December/January working out at 5:30 a.m. in Cambier Park and on 5th Avenue. Life doesn't get any better than this!

4 weeks of boot camp and I lost 6.6 lbs and 15+ inches!!! I can see and feel the difference. I'm even starting to see some muscle definition in my arms and legs. Coach Natalie has helped me achieve what I could not do on my own... and I'm having fun! Every day is different - one day we might work on legs as we make our way up and down 5th Avenue; another day it's cardio and core blast in the park. Coach Natalie motivates and challenges us so we can get results and we have a great time doing it! I can't wait for the next session to start.
